Unconventional materials, 2 segments : 13 x 30 x 30 cm + 2 m rope in space
The artwork, entitled “Is there a border between the coasts?”, represents a meticulous research endeavor that unfolded through a series of work meetings and an in-depth analysis of relevant works within the context of the exhibition “Mediterranean once and now”. This collaborative project was brought to life in partnership with the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, and the resulting creations by the participating artists were showcased at the esteemed Memorial collection of Pavle Beljanski. The foundation of this work rests upon an extensive exploration of the cultural heritage of the Mediterranean region, particularly in relation to its traditional cuisine and its historical and contemporary global impact.
