VIVARIUM is a collaborative exhibition of Adrienn Újházi and Nemanja Milenković stemming from the invitation of the Council of the Gallery of the Youth Center, which recognized the similarities in the artistic expression of the two authors, and on this occasion they are exhibiting together for the first time. The exhibition in a way, shows and examines the processes of individual practices by finding analogies that are not noticeable at first glance. Adrienn Újházi’s work enters the field of environmental art (and bio art). Her research approach implies the use of natural elements and materials in their (mostly raw) original state, and minimal interventions lead to results in the form of installations, objects. Nemanja Milenković deals with the attitude of people towards animals in modern society and how a collective and individual identity is formed towards him. Starting from his personal engagement in animal rights activism, his research is based, among other things, on an analysis of how today’s industries achieve their profits through inhumane treatment of animals. Both Adrienn Újházi’s work and Nemanja Milenković’s work are characterized by interdisciplinarity, and experimentation in the medium of drawing, painting, object, installation and performance. access to content that is the subject of individual research by artists.
