The Bio Awaking project is a comprehensive initiative aimed at addressing environmental challenges in the Western Balkans through bio-art and interdisciplinary collaboration. By engaging artists, scientists, and activists from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, and Croatia, the project seeks to raise awareness and promote sustainable development practices. Key activities include bio-art forums, workshops, study visits, mobile laboratory sessions, and exhibitions at festivals, culminating in the “One Tree(s)” initiative to symbolize ecological awakening. This initiative underscores the project’s goal of fostering environmental consciousness and artistic innovation across the region.
