Artist statement

Újházi Adrienn (SR/HU) is a visual artist and researcher dedicated to exploring the interdisciplinary realm where art, science, and technology converge (ASTS). With a focus on illuminating the deep connections between humans and nature, she employs a diverse range of artistic techniques, including photography, installation, video, painting, and sculpting with living cultured forms. Through her work, she delves into the complex dynamics between society and the natural world. Adrienn’s artistic endeavors are disseminated through multiple platforms, including exhibitions, projects, open (artist) talks, workshops, interviews, lectures, and conferences.

About me

Biography

Újházi Adrienn (1995, Novi Sad) completed her bachelor and master’s studies till 2020 at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, at the Department of Fine Arts. She worked (2020-2021.) as a professor at the high school for design „Bogdan Šuput” (Novi Sad). From 2021 she is in the status of an independent artist and continues informally to share her knowledge and experience in the alternative artistic production through various initiatives. She received several scholarships and awards also, actively participates in exhibitions, projects, collaborative initiatives. Her work has been shown at numerous galleries, museums and festivals.
